We've only recently had success in finding quality/dedicated volunteers, but for years prior it was quite a challenge.

What sources do you use for volunteers? High Schools? Senior Centers? Civic Groups? Other?

Do you accept everyone that wants to help? If not how do you determine who you want?

What sort of training do you do, if any?

We use high school students, senior citizens and any other community members who are interested in helping.

Since finding help was a challenge, initially we accepted anyone who wanted to help, but have recently changed that approach.

There is also a group in our county called the "Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), which is made up of civic-minded seniors looking to volunteer in the community. We have used them a lot recently with great success.
