My department is having some issues with staff members wearing IPODS while on duty. Has anyone had the same issue and do have any policies or rules in place regarded this or any similiar situations?

My feeling on iPods mirrors that of cell phone use. If they are "back stage" and out of the public eye... I think iPods are okay. If they are sitting at the front desk with patrons... no way! I know lines get a little fuzzy and especially for teens, sometimes you just have to say no and be the bad guy. If they have to listen to their iPods at work, McDonalds is always hiring smiling faces (but I dont think they would be able to use them there either)
