I've put together our first ever Earth Day Celebration event here in Painesville, and I think its pretty good for a first time event, and I've arleady thougth of some ways to improve it for next year, but I wanted to see what others have done, are doing, or hope to do.

My event has:
Tree planting in town square
Live environmental/educational music concert by local musician
seed planting activity for the kids
Earth Day activity books
Plant sale
CFL recycling
Bulb trade in--turn in an incandescent bulb, get a cfl bulb free.
Tree trimming demo
Various local environmental groups with interactive displays
Food courtesy of our local softball league.
