Interesting after-school program for kids in Larkspur, CA. I'm curious, is this type of activity common?

"Lego Engineering Come with us for a great time building and learning at the same time.

The goals of this class include developing and enhancing students'
problem solving and critical thinking skills and exposing children to
concepts and vocabulary of Engineering, Architecture and Physics.

Students will work individually, in teams and as a group throughout the

start each meeting. Children will then be given a design/build assignment.

Lego classes

Patrick,

I currently offer 2 programs in my brochure dealing with Legos. One is a Jr. Engineering Challange class and the other is called "Go Green Robotics". Both programs are offered by the same company, and use the LEGO product line. One is referred to the Lego Simple Machines Kit, and the other is the Lego Mindstorms system.

We have used this camp program for over 5 years with great success. Price structure is very similar.

We used this company. Communication was... slow. Class was popular.
